Walkabrella is inspired by the Mass Communication P.R. class of August 2009. They call themselves Demi, is organizing this event to create awareness on Cerebral Palsy in conjunction with Pusat Penjagaan Kanak-Kanak Cacat Taman Megah (PPKKCTM).
So what is Walkabrella all about?
This event is a casual, non-competitive walk, spanning 6-km in the vicinity of Bandar Utama. It's not just an event that comes and goes. At the same time, it is to achieve the objective by entering the Malaysian Book of Records by getting and attracting the largest most number of people to participate in this walk-for-a-cause with their umbrellas open during our event! This walk, with you helping in the record breaking event will definitely be remembered.
Purpose of event:
- Highlight the plight of our chosen beneficiary.
- To generate awareness on Cerebral Palsy within the community.
- To enter an record breaking event.
Meeting point will be at Central Park, 1 Utama Shopping Center.
